As part of a private boat charter on Reef Magic, experience first-hand what innovation restoration projects are in place to protect, restore and manage coral on our World Heritage Listed, Great Barrier Reef.  The day will be led by Andy Ridley, Founding CEO of Citizens of the Great Barrier Reef and Eric Fisher, GBR Biology Manager of Reef Magic.

Please check in at Cairns Reef Fleet Terminal from 7.00am and we will be departing at 7.30am sharp.  There will be tea and coffee served onboard, but if you would like a barista coffee, please grab one from your hotel or a café nearby.  Travel Calm and Ginger tablets will be available on board for any delegates that may get sea sick, however, if you are wanting to be prepared, we would suggest you taking these at breakfast.

We will arrive at the Reef Magic Pontoon at Moore Reef approx. 9am, where snorkelling, diving, glass bottom boat, semi sub marines and presentations will be available.  A delicious seafood filled lunch with both hot and cold buffet selections will be provided.    We will return to Cairns Reef Fleet Terminal approx. 3pm and for those needing to catch a late afternoon flight, transfers to Cairns Airport will be available.

Please note there are shower facilities onboard the pontoon for a chance to freshen up prior to catching your flight.

Don’t forget to bring a towel, swimmers, hat, sunscreen and a change of clothes!

It will be a great day out!
